Day 1 – Bijagua de Upala
Arrival to Bijagua, small typical town between the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes, a peaceful place and surrounded of warm and friendly people; Bijagua is the “door” to the Volcán Tenorio National Park. Arrival to your Hotel. In the afternoon you can visit the town, take a light walk around the hotel or relax and enjoy of a wonderful bath in a Jacuzzi with the spectacular view of the valley. Day 2 – Río Celeste
Breakfast in the Hotel. Tour to the Volcán Tenorio National Park, where we’ll start the hike to Río Celeste; this is a medium intensity hike, where we will walk through the secondary forest and later to the cloud forest, until we found the colourful spectacle of Río Celeste. We’ll found the Laguna Azul, boiling waters, and the “teñideros”, where the water leaves their natural colour to transform in the intense light blue that makes it unique. Take a deep breath in the thermal waters and enjoy a delicious snack, and later will found one of the most spectacular waterfalls of the world: the Río Celeste Waterfall. At the end of the tour, enjoy a typical lunch and go back to the hotel, where you can see the sunset between the two volcanoes.

Day 3 – Bijagua
In this day you can make optional activities, according to the level of intensity that you want to leave Bijagua. You can visit the Miravalles Waterfalls, know the Petroglifos or being part of the experience of living at Agro-turistic farm, fishing a Tilapia or enjoy a horseback ride. Before you leave, do not forget to pass trough the “Magnetic Zone”, a place on the road where the cars instead of going downhill without brakes, go uphill. After this singular experience, we will take the road back home.
